About the firm
A real team, not a portal.
AccuBooks is an accounting firm built for founders — enrolled agents and experienced accountants who keep your books, prepare your returns, and sit with you on the numbers. You'll know the people doing the work.
Why we exist
Founders deserve a firm on their side.
Most small businesses get one of two things: a cheap bookkeeper who downloads transactions and disappears, or a big firm that treats them as an afterthought.
AccuBooks is the third option — a proper firm, priced for founders, that closes cleanly every month and actually tells you what the numbers mean. We're registered in Massachusetts (#FRM-12459) and Rhode Island (#PAC-2218), an IRS e-File Provider, and SOC 2 Type II. What you'll feel day to day is simpler: clean books, filed on time, explained plainly.
Carl Amaral
Accounting Manager
Twelve years in accounting, including a stretch in Big Four audit. Carl owns the close — the chart of accounts, the reconciliations, and the review stage that catches what others miss.
Asit Johar, EA
Tax Manager
An IRS-enrolled agent who leads tax preparation and planning. Asit runs the quarterly checkpoints, the entity-election analysis, and any notice that needs answering — so April is never a surprise.
Amy Weinberg
QuickBooks ProAdvisor
Fifteen years keeping small-business books immaculate, certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Amy makes sure the systems behind your close are clean, current, and built to scale with you.
We built AccuBooks to be the firm we wished founders could hire — disciplined enough to trust, close enough to actually talk to.The AccuBooks partners
